Rocket Rebrand
Description
Rocket Rebrand was an overhaul of all Rocket Mortgage and its sister companies (Rocket Homes, Rocket Loans, and Rocket HQ) brands. The large-scope project included partnerships with external creatives such as Lippincott and Metalabs. I worked as the lead Quicken Loans UX Designer, combining efforts between our team and our partners to unify the visual design, brand identity, and overall user experience.
Goals
Update the visual design to match new brand direction
New global navigation that links Rocket Companies (Mortgage, Home, Loans, HQ)
Consistent navigation across Rocket Companies
My Role
I was responsible for exploring new design solutions to achieve the above goals, creating a Sketch library with our rebranded components, working with our Spark Design system team to implement the components, applying the rebrand across multiple platforms (web and mobile iOS and Android) experiences, and working with multiple development teams to get everything implemented.

New Global Navigation
Tabbed Navigation
A simple tabbed system would make it clear where you currently are, and what services are available.
Rocket Dropdown
This one highlighted the fact that Rocket had more options, without displaying them. A concern with this is findability, but locating it in the top left
client-driven
We wanted to understand where clients were in the home buying journey and their confidence level, provide a with resources to monitor and start when ready.
